Step 1:Prewriting

Many people use the prewriting stage to brainstorm as many ideas as possible that fits their assignment before they begin to narrow their topic. Here are some tools you can use to help you in your brainstorming.

Writing a Thesis or Topic Statement:

A thesis focuses the essay. It usually follows the following formate:
A specific subject + A specific condition, feeling, or stand = an effective thesis
