Notes: Komarey has been a Science teacher for 4 years on O‘ahu. As a recent addition to the branch, her role is to develop and facilitate distance learning courses for Hawaiian culture.

Komarey views distance learning as a powerful way to deliver education without barriers to the community on a global scale. The opportunities that are presented through distance learning would give the community access to programs that would enrich and promote education.
