Notes: Kelly has been a Hawaiian culture and language teacher for 8 years on Maui, 4 of which were at the Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus.   As a recent edition to the department, her role is to develop and facilitate distance learning courses for Hawaiian culture, history, and language courses.

Kelly views distance learning as a means to broaden educational opportunities for learners from various backgrounds, even offering a wider range of course than may be found in traditional institutions.   Distance learning would also allow Kamehameha Schools to extend its reach to Hawaiian learners everywhere.
