Notes: I received my bachelor’s degree in biology from Pomona College and my master’s degree in education from Claremont Graduate University, in southern California. After completing my degree programs and teaching for a year in California, I was more than ready to move back home to Maui. I worked initially for Baldwin High School and am currently teaching high school at Kamehameha Schools Maui.

At Kamehameha Schools I teach junior and senior elective science courses as a member of the Science and Natural Resources Academy.  I also completed the Online Instructors Training Institute through Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawai'i and work part time for Kamehameha Schools Distance Learning Division as an instructor for the A'o Makua courses. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and our black lab outdoors. We particularly love to going to the beach to kayak and stand-up paddle board and going hiking around Maui’s many beautiful places.
