Notes: Cassie’s duties as an Instructional Support Specialist is to assist with providing distance learning opportunities for the Hawaiian community through support of students, faculty and the Instructional Designers.

Currently she is working towards her doctorate focused on online learning. She views distance learning as an opportunity to create an educational experience of equal qualitative value for the learner to best suit their needs outside of the classroom. DL also is a communication tool of their own choosing by exchanging various forms of media through technology allowing individuals to communicate in synchronous and asynchronous ways.
